The site
VP Accounting & Tax Services publishes these pages for households and businesses considering the firm. Content is general information about federal and Florida tax practice. It is not a return, an opinion, or advice for your facts. Circular 230: nothing here is written to be used, and cannot be used, to avoid penalties under the Internal Revenue Code.
The estimator
The Tax Center estimator uses 2025 federal brackets and the standard deduction from IRS Rev. Proc. 2024-40. It omits QBI, AMT, NIIT, phaseouts, credits beyond the child and other-dependent amounts, and every state except the reminder that Florida has no individual income tax. Treat the number as a sketch. A projection is a paid engagement.
Booking a consult
The 30-minute consult is complimentary. Picking a time on this site is a request. The office confirms by email or phone. If the slot cannot be held, we will say so and offer another. Saturday mornings are appointment-only. A consult is not representation, not a power of attorney, and not an agreement to file.
When work starts
Work starts when both sides have a signed engagement letter with a fee. Until then we may decline a file — a conflict, a deadline we cannot meet, or work we do not do. Starting prices on the service pages are where most files land; complexity is quoted after the consult.
Notices and deadlines
If you are holding an IRS or Florida letter with a date on it, call (727) 555-0190. Do not wait on a form. We cannot guarantee that a request sent the afternoon before a deadline will be opened in time to answer it.
